Brittany Clarke is a Canadian songwriter, vocalist, producer and music publisher.
Restless and creative from a young age, Brittany wrote her first songs in her teens, in between flute, voice and piano lessons. Every evening her parents vinyl would fill the air. Spinning the likes of Joni Mitchell, Carole King, and Gladys Knight, heavily influencing her folk-lyrical style and warm vocal tone.
After graduating from the musical theatre program at the established Etobicoke School of The Arts, Brittany traded the auditions and scripts for recording programs and open mics. Longing for an opportunity she moved to New York City in 2014 to pursue music full time.
Since then, Brittany has released her debut EP "Slowly", several singles, and gained features with local acts like Graffiti Royale, Swim Team, and DJ Logic. A partnership with ASCAP for The Harry Chapin Songwriting workshop earned Brittany her first music placement in an independent film for her single "Dirty". A semi-finalist in the Canadian Songwriting Competition for "Reprieve (Acoustic Sessions)" and a seasoned session topliner Brittany is constantly growing in her music.
Currently writing and recording out of her home studio full time, she is creating works for her new Electro-Pop project with producer/writer Alex Kopp (Third Eye Blind) entitled "Moon Mansion".
Their first single, a lush electro-pop cover of "Girls Just Wanna Have Fun" is out now on all platforms.
