If I could hug the world I would.
I'm Canadian, a bit of a hippy. I used to be a Pastry Chef in Toronto, ON, humbly serving my sweet tooth in bakeries and fine dining kitchens. I'm happiest when I'm making something, or dancing to a favorite song. Singing is very much a part of my identity, and has been a constant mirror.
I've been traveling to New York, Nashville and LA for the last 2 years to learn and write and continue to develop as a songwriter and artist. I'm passionate about mental health awareness, strengthening at risk communities and being the change you want to see in the world.
I believe that the lines and boundaries drawn in the sand aren't so deep, we are the same more than we are different. If I can pull back the curtain even a little bit with my music and expose the internal tenderness we all share, I've succeeded.
After participating in ASCAP's Harry Chapin Songwriting Workshop in Nov. 2017, my eyes were opened to the power of co-writing. My single "Dirty" was a product of that workshop and since then I've been seeking out other workshops and song camps to keep working the skill. Trying my hand at production led me to my first placement in The Canadian Songwriting Competition as a Semi-finalist in the R&B Category for my track titled “Reprieve (Acoustic Sessions).
Since releasing my first EP "Slowly" in 2016, I've been fortunate to have collaborated with other very talented artists. Namely; Swim Team, Graffiti Royale, BEX, Warm Gun and DJ Logic.
I feel very lucky to be doing what I love and I'm here to encourage you to do the same.
Always looking for what's next
Scared to the bone, take a breath
Diggin' my heels
Oh how it feels
